星期天的講道裡，Bryan (我們的牧師之一) 用這段經文來討論 grace (恩典) 和 truth (真理)。我以為他要提醒我們要多原諒別人，可是他反而說：別人犯的錯 (truth) 和 我們的原諒 (grace) 之間，是像拉橡皮筋兩端一樣有 tension 的。我們應該要感覺到那樣的 tension 存在，而不是很快就走到任何一端的極端。他說這樣的 tension 才是 power 的來源。
不懂要怎麼停留在 grace 和 truth 之間...很多時候當別人冒犯到我的時候，要我不生氣，而去原諒對方，經常是很掙扎的事情。我猜，也許 Bryan 就是要我們有"掙扎"的階段吧?
